I wish I could have given the South Carolina and North Carolina Rising information to Gail. There are more of us in the south that would like to be tied in some how.
best bet is to just get setup with http://geneology.risingfamily.org/
the GED file here is an export from ancestry.com, and it is normally used to import into a 'GED Viewer'. you're not supposed to read it directly.
I can't make heads or tails of this.

These were done up by Justus Rising and Gale Bunner, and are split into 4 volumes. You will need a zip archiver / unarchiver in order to open them, as they are compressed. You will also need a PDF Viewer (Acrobat) to view them.

GEDCOM / Geneology File for Rising and Wolfe family
If anyone is interested in this... i got pretty far along on ancestry.com with it. It contains information about both sides of my family, including the 'Risings' and the 'Wolfes' ... so if you're a Rising, you will have to remove the maternal side. :)

What is the relationship between this group and the Rising Family Association based with John Rising in Boulder? I knew Gale Bunner pretty well and have a great deal of respect for the work that he and Justus Rising did for our family. We have all of Gales books and have some extras if you know anyone looking.
